Hotel Villa Medici - Rocca San Giovanni

We stayed in a spacious room with convenient amenities like a mini fridge bar, air conditioning, and a personal safe, located in a strategic and comfortable area with a great view.

The room is spacious and cool with nice balcony, also they can offer wake-up service. The price is £ 89.

The rooms are clean and beautiful with big beds and smoke detectors. Great to have central heating, an electronic key card, and a work desk. Everyone who works in the hotel is kind and nice. All in all they offer terrific service. Besides, you can park your car on site. As for me the location is marvellous, minutes from a motorway.

enjoyed staying near city centre with pool and clean rooms. Breakfast was good. Great location to visit trabocchi and San Vito in Chietina and Lanciano. Helpful dining staff.

Close to the highway, easy to park

The hotel in general was OK. Unfortunately I wedding party was going on and I could not sleep until 2 a.m. I was given a room just above the party informing me at 10 pm that in 30 minutes everything was over. When the shift changed at the reception, there was a more reasonable guy who changed the room. Breakfast the day after very poor.

Convenient spot to explore around. the parking lot was right here, so easy to find a spot. 🚗

No complaints, we would go back in flash when in Rocca San Giovanni. We park our car onsite.

MYson and I stayed for 3 nights while testing at local karting track in Ortona, it was a perfect location, confortable, clean and relaxing. We were out all day so didn't didn't have time to use the pool. Would recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately on the last morning of our 3 night stay we had a bad experience with the lady on reception when checking out, she was more interested in having laughs and jokes with who appeared to be a local supplier of goods to the hotel. She was extremely rude when we approached her to check out, we are easy going, had no problem waiting but the lady on reception was more interested in having a social chat then dealing with us, she appeared to be annoyed that we approached her at all. When dealing with people on a daily basis she would really need to have a pleasant manor.

The view and the fact that it was not possible to get fresh air in the room. Half of the rooms has a view on the inside of the hotel and no contact with outside. Bad smell in the corridors.

The location of this place was really good as it was outside the city center.

The breakfast buffet is very good.

There was a wedding party at the hotel, so the pool was closed. People in front desk very rude and not helpfull at all. We had booked non-smoking room, still got one which smelled of cigarettes. We could not have dinner until 9 p.m. due to wedding party and the room we were offered to dine in was a meetingroom! Not what we expected.

Good accommodation at reasonable price

If they have the swimming pool available, I think they should consider late check out, in order to take advantage of this feature.Regards,Zac

The hotel was a good choice for enjoying an industrialized area close to Abruzzo, the restaurant, and Majella mountain. the room was clean and beautiful, equipped with safety features like smoke detectors, climate control, a personal safe, and an electronic key card. - the bed was big, and the staff were caring and excellent.

It has a very good breakfast buffet.

The hotel has a swimming pool, but since it is used for wedding parties it was always closed for hotel guests. Due to these events, it was noisy and difficult to find a parking space. The a/c from our room didn't work properly.

the hotel was locateld very badly. 16 km far from fossacesia, instead of 4,5 km as promised.
